Digital transformation for the European Central Bank
The current financial situation in Europe has made the online portal of the European Central Bank (ECB) one of the most sought-after resources for financial experts, journalists, and the general public. The ECB’s new website provides open, clear, and transparent information in 23 languages about monetary policy strategies, assessments, and decisions.
Following the slogan “info meets tainment”, factual and educational information will be effectively combined with entertaining multimedia elements. Dedicated content for financial experts is clearly and precisely organized. The general public will be introduced to the ECB’s monetary policies with easy-to-follow videos, online games, and a wide social media offer. The modular design concept was developed by ]init[ following a user-centric approach in close collaboration with the ECB.
The new platform strategy now enables the ECB to present microsites with their own design approach that integrate seamlessly under the ECB umbrella brand. The first of these is the site for the ECB’s single European banking supervision mechanism.
]init[ serves the ECB in the context of digital communication. Further ]init[ clients in the finance sector include the Deutsche Bundesbank, Deutsche Börse AG, the state bank of Hessen-Thüringen, and Union Investment.
