Website for the Center of Excellence for Digitalization and Care
This summer, we developed the website for the Center of Excellence for Digitalization and Care on behalf of the GKV-Spitzenverband. Thanks to close collaboration, combined expertise, and efficient project management, we were able to create a modern, accessible portal in a very short time.
The Center of Excellence for Digitalization and Nursing Care at the GKV-Spitzenverband offers nursing professionals, facilities, and soon also care recipients, family members, associations, and other stakeholders with consolidated knowledge on digital transformation in the care sector.
The new website brings together target-group-specific, easily accessible, and practical information on a central platform. With our teams of experts, we were able to successfully design and implement this full-service project within three months. Future-proof, accessible, and offering high added value for all users.
From kick-off to launch in 62 business days
As of July 1, 2025, connection to the telematics infrastructure (TI) became mandatory for long-term care facilities – and with it, the introduction of a digital information platform. Our teams of experts therefore worked on a three-month full-service project to successfully design and implement this new portal and ensure that all relevant information was made available on time.
Our end-to-end approach covered the entire process: strategy, conception, UX design, front-end and back-end development based on TYPO3, as well as the planning, creation, and maintenance of all content for the new online portal. In parallel, we developed a new corporate identity, including logo design, typography, and a unique visual style, as well as initial concepts for accompanying communications.
In six joint workshops with the GKV-Spitzenverband, we laid the foundation for close, agile collaboration and a clearly defined project plan. The result was the successful website launch on June 30, 2025. Since then, we have been supporting the portal during its ongoing operation—providing technical support, editorial maintenance, and continuous further development of content and functions.
Digitalization in the healthcare sector must, above all, be practical—and that was a clear priority in our joint project with ]init[ as well. The pragmatic approach, high level of flexibility, and close collaboration throughout the project with the diverse team of experienced experts ensured that our website was successfully launched despite the tight timeline.

Central Information Platform
The successful implementation in such a short time demonstrates that all users benefit from the end-to-end approach. On the platform, users can gain a practical and easy-to-understand overview of new digital applications and take advantage of various support services and additional resources. The GKV-Spitzenverband, in turn, meets all legal requirements while providing a state-of-the-art platform with a clear identity.
Full-service support, including brand and promotional communications
The ever-expanding website also serves as the hub for the accompanying marketing efforts. With an integrated 360° communication strategy, we provide a comprehensive package of measures designed to raise the website’s profile nationwide.
To this end, we develop, among other things, target audience personas, corresponding user journeys, and a robust set of KPIs for measuring success. Advertising will be conducted using various formats across different channels—from social media to print, from videos to infographics, and from traditional PR to newsletter and email marketing.
