]init[ and IONOS are working together to drive cloud transformation

At the IONOS Summit on September 19, 2024, Oliver von Kleist, Partner Manager Cloud at ]init[, and Tim Kartali, Head of Global Partner Sales at IONOS, announced a joint initiative for the sovereign management cloud.

The partnership focuses on digitalization platforms and online services developed by ]init[ and operated on IONOS’s highly available, secure, and rapidly scalable cloud platform.

More flexibility for end-to-end projects

Our customers who wish to use cloud technology in existing or new digitalization projects benefit from this joint offering. In particular, the operation of end-to-end platforms – where administrative services can be applied for, processed, and approved seamlessly and uniformly across the country – can no longer be managed without a cloud solution.

This modern infrastructure solution makes digital administrative services accessible to all citizens even during extreme peak loads and offers public administrations flexible integration options for a wide variety of specialized procedures.

In such application scenarios, the European cloud platform from IONOS fully meets the political requirements for digital sovereignty and, with a GDPR-compliant infrastructure, IT-Grundschutz certification, and a C5 certificate, stands ready for the forward-looking operation of administrative systems in the cloud.

First SaaS solutions designed specifically for public administration

As part of this partnership, we are integrating the first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for government agencies and businesses into the IONOS Cloud Marketplace. The following third-party solutions will soon be available: the ]init[ product DIALOG BOX, a platform for dialogue and engagement projects, and Intraplan, a digital planning tool and dashboard. With these SaaS solutions, we are meeting our customers’ needs for simple, secure, high-performance solutions that are flexibly tailored to workload scenarios.
