]init[ is a partner in health insurance hack:ed 2026

At health insurance hack:ed 2026, experts from statutory health insurance (GKV), private health insurance (PKV), startups, and research will come together to develop solutions for the health insurance of tomorrow. We are a partner and are contributing our digital health expertise to the hackathon.

Health insurance is facing major challenges: How can AI be integrated into existing processes in a meaningful and secure way? Which solutions truly improve care for policyholders? This is exactly where health insurance hack:ed comes in – and this is exactly where we step in.

The 8th edition of the industry hackathon will take place in Leipzig from September 2 to 4, 2026. ]init[ is an official partner and is helping to shape the event.

What is the health insurance hack:ed?

health insurance hack:ed is the only industry innovation event that combines a hackathon with professional development for the health insurance sector. During the three-day hackathon, interdisciplinary teams develop hands-on solutions to current industry challenges, with a focus on AI applications. At the same time, the Sprint:ed workshops on the second day of the event offer practical training on the strategic and operational implementation of AI in health insurance.

Over 200 participants are expected – including more than 85 hackers, employees from statutory (GKV) and private (PKV) health insurance providers, as well as external experts from startups, associations, and research institutions. Our specialists will work alongside them to develop prototypes and concepts that advance the digital transformation of the German healthcare system.

Join us in shaping the digital society of tomorrow!
