End-to-end platforms and OZG 2.0 The Digitalization Booster

We are leveraging our end-to-end expertise in administrative digitization within the framework of OZG 2.0. After all, only with fully digitized processes and the right level of automation can administrative services become easier for everyone.

What is end-to-end digitization?

"End-to-end" has long since ceased to refer solely to an encryption method in digital communication. In the context of public administration, it refers to fully digitized processes. To ensure that citizens can access complex administrative services as easily as possible and without any disruption in the process, processes and technologies must work together seamlessly: from the provision of information, digital application forms, and backend application processing to the issuance of decisions or the disbursement of government benefits. Everything happens end-to-end – ideally on a high-performance platform that integrates all stakeholders.

We don’t want to simply digitize outdated processes; rather, we want to harness the potential of digitalization to drive true innovation. Our solutions are powerful platform architectures that automate and accelerate process steps.

Thinking end-to-end together with OZG 2.0

The Online Access Act (OZG) has succeeded in making numerous administrative services available online. However, despite online access, many administrative services still fall short of expectations in terms of speed and reach. For a tangible transformation to occur, the administrative tasks themselves must also be streamlined through digitalization. This requires automating processes, accelerating procedures, and linking data sources.

The follow-up to the OZG – OZG 2.0 – heralds the next stage of administrative digitization, including a requirement for end-to-end digital services. To achieve this, modern technologies such as low-code and no-code platforms, AI models, and cloud-based infrastructures must be combined with powerful core components and integrated into existing procedural landscapes.

Only in this way can end-to-end platforms create real added value through the intelligent use of data and technologies, innovative service offerings, and automated processes – not only for citizens, but also for the work of the administration itself.

End-to-end solutions from a single source

]init[ has been addressing the key issues crucial to the consistent implementation of OZG 2.0 for years: from the standardization of entire departments and the modernization of registries to the implementation of the Single Digital Gateway Regulation and the development of core components and platforms for the consistent application of the “once-only” principle. We help shape the fundamental prerequisites for end-to-end digitalization.

On these topics, we work closely with our clients at the federal and state levels, who value both our strong consulting expertise and our implementation capabilities as an IT service provider. This approach ensures that solutions developed during the consulting phase are technically feasible and prove effective in practice.

This is what we bring to our OZG projects

01

Implementation experience

We digitize enterprise-wide processes on modular end-to-end platforms in a short period of time, leveraging professional program management and our experience in implementing end-to-end projects.

02

Independent and flexible

We address the specific requirements of a project using technology-neutral approaches, translate legal requirements into actionable technical concepts, and strike the perfect balance between reliable planning and operational flexibility.

03

Administrative expertise

We understand the complexity of administrative processes, grasp the interconnections, and find sustainable solutions: from technical issues related to registry modernization and standardization to the technical challenges of “once-only” data collection and the use of core components.

04

Quality

High-quality data is key to automation. We start by defining clean data models and implement application platforms and business processes with a high degree of automation.

White Paper: End-to-End Platforms

In our white paper, you will learn why platform-based approaches can help create end-to-end digital processes and generate synergies for all stakeholders. We also describe various platform approaches and the key factors for successfully implementing and operating high-performance platform infrastructures within a federal system.

Flexibility and speed in implementation

We use innovative architectures, agile structures, and interdisciplinary teams to implement end-to-end platforms quickly. In our quest to create a clear, user-friendly digital solution, we cover a wide range of technologies: from low-code and no-code platforms to standard government systems, innovative AI tools, and open-source frameworks.

With projects such as the procedural platform for federal and state COVID-19 economic aid or Einmalzahlung200.de, we have demonstrated the feasibility of end-to-end platforms and OZG 2.0 programs and implemented fully digitized administrative processes with a high degree of automation.

The bridging assistance platform

A strong idea is worth nothing without a purposeful concept and innovative implementation. In the project, we implemented the central procedural platform for Corona economic aid from the federal and state governments on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK).

Studying made easy with simple bureaucracy

Digital solutions are designed to make bureaucracy easier and can replace paper applications at certain points. The digital assistant of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) now guides students through the BAföG application process in a time-saving and comprehensible way. init supervised the project until 2025.

Paper applications adé with OZG expertise

Paperless administration is making its way into your home. Together with the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ), we developed an application that saves parents annoying paperwork and enables authorities to work more efficiently in the future: ElterngeldDigital.
