Education: Making Support Accessible, Keeping Processes Manageable
Our specialists use cross-platform data exchange standards such as XBildung and XSchule to lay the groundwork for avoiding siloed solutions. This makes it easier to roll out solutions on a large scale.
With BAföG Digital, we have also implemented a digital assistant that guides students step by step through the application process. It helps prevent common mistakes. This reduces the need for follow-up inquiries. And the process remains stable and operational.
We were able to demonstrate the full potential of end-to-end platforms in the Einmalzahlung200 project. 3.5 million students and vocational school students benefited from the fast application process and received the payment in their accounts within a few days.
Family: Benefits so digital that they integrate into everyday life
Family benefits are a service promise. We design application processes to provide clear guidance and ensure accurate data entry. Standards like XFamilie support collaboration across departments.
The ElterngeldDigital project demonstrates the results: less paper, fewer incomplete applications. This streamlines processing. And because benefits only arise through use, ]init[ supported the State of Bremen with a cross-media communication campaign to increase the reach and acceptance of the digital parental leave application.
Social Services: Reducing the Burden – with Once-Only, Portals, and Data
In the social services sector, high caseloads meet legal complexity. This is demonstrated by the Digital Long-Term Care Insurance Retrieval Process project: information is used within the process instead of being requested again. This supports the once-only principle and reduces manual effort.
But progress isn’t just about transactions. Guidance matters, too. For the Competence Center for Digitalization and Care, ]init[ implemented an accessible portal that consolidates knowledge and remains open to further development.
