Digital processes in the healthcare sector must be clear, secure, and reliable for everyone involved. Together with our subsidiary HBSN, we ensure that digital solutions deliver exactly that: they are intuitive to use, boost efficiency, and create real added value. This significantly reduces the workload for healthcare professionals, and patients benefit directly from digital advancements.

Whether it’s the Hospital Future Act (KHZG), the Pact for Public Health Services (PÖGD), the electronic patient record (ePA), or telematics infrastructure: we understand the complex regulatory landscape. This also includes NIS2, KRITIS, and the European Health Data Space (EHDS). We provide reliable support throughout the implementation, integration, and sustainable adoption of these systems.

In all our projects, we take a human-centered approach. Digital solutions should ease the burden, not add to it. That is why we develop technologies that are easy to understand, simplify workflows, and improve the quality of care. The result is a healthcare system that is not only more digital but also functions better.

Our clients

Comprehensive service approach

The team at ]init[ and HBSN brings together experienced consultants with extensive knowledge of the German healthcare system. We support organizations in their digital transformation projects – from strategy and design to development, implementation, and operation. Our clients rely on our expertise to align technical, regulatory, and business requirements.

This results in solutions for secure and interoperable data exchange between specialized applications. In addition, we develop user-friendly services for patients and staff and create scalable platforms for hospitals, health insurance providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders. We also provide support for custom applications, data protection and security concepts, and modern IT infrastructure. This includes cloud and DevOps operations, service management, and security services such as Security Operations Centers (SOC) and penetration testing.

Together with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Integration in Hesse, we are currently developing our multi-tenant specialized application ÖGDigital. It covers nearly the entire range of tasks – from hygiene monitoring and assessment services to school entry examinations – and is a forward-looking project for the Public Health Service (ÖGD).

The complex digital transformation initiatives in the healthcare sector require effective and innovative end-to-end expertise. Together with the experts at HBSN, ]init[ offers a unique range of services designed to improve digital healthcare in Germany.
