Sustainable online communication with digital storytelling and targeted donor appeals for one of the most important humanitarian organizations in Germany.

UNO Refugee Aid started with a completely revamped website in the early summer. With the relaunch, the NGO has succeeded in concluding digital storytelling on current refugee issues, in which the focus is on transparent project funding and the provision of information. We supply the user experience design of the new website. The technical re-implementation on Typo3 is the responsibility of our partner vcat.

"We pursue an integrated approach to communication: we can convince people of our topics only with sufficient and fact-based information. Together with ]init [ we have now firmly anchored this claim in our online communication."

Peter Ruhenstroth-Bauer

CEO UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe

The new website presents refugee issues in a transparent and comprehensive manner about hot spots, conflicts, causes of flight and the situation of refugees worldwide. An up-to-date off-canvas navigation guides users intuitively through the offer, which is now more closely aligned with the global corporate identity of the UN refugee agency UNHCR, whose national partner is the UNO refugee aid.

Ongoing campaigns such as the current spring campaign "Two Billion Kilometers Toward Protection. Every Step Counts." Receive more attention with large start page teasers and are directly linked to corresponding support offers.

"The UNO refugee aid is now much more present online and can use its digital communication channels even more purposefully for donor addresses."
