In September 2009, the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection (German abbr. StMJV Bayern) assigned the Bavarian Consumer Committee that now informs about their work on their own information portal. The independent committee values with 16 approved experts developments of the consumer policy and concludes approaches for an active state consumer policy.

Additionally, a login-protected area on the portal www.bayern.de, that by the way is kept in Bavarian style and feeling, enables the members of the commission to access a document storage that transparently and comprehensibly records the processing and exchange of documents.
