In the run-up to a planned re-launch of www.wcoomd.org , the World Customs Organization commissioned ]init[ to provide recommendations for better online communication services. As a result of this project, a comprehensive analysis document has now been submitted. The study draws conclusions from on-site stakeholder workshops, online surveys and expert reviews of the WCO websites’ usability, content, accessibility and security status. On its 150 pages, the document also develops guidelines and measures that will help the WCO present its content and services more user-friendly, to streamline maintenance and security issues and to extend its portal to meet the demands of its global audience.
