Already in April 2011 ]init[ implemented the website of the "Hochrangige Konsensgruppe Fachkräftebedarf und Zuwanderung" (High-ranking group of consent for the demand of skilled workers and migration). This expert council consults the Bundestag and the Bundesrat for the reform of the migration steering. About its work and activities and its implementation the group informs on www.konsensgruppe.de.

The expert council is an initiative of the Foundation Mercator, the Foundation Freudenberg, the Foundation of Körber and the Vodafone Foundation. The Robert Bosch Foundation is supporting the council with accompanying studies.
