The Press and Information Office of the German Federal Government (German abbr. BPA) offers citizens on www.bundesregierung.de an optimized service for the search of the latest government information. The portal-wide search was expanded with modern google technology providing quick, precise and highly-topical search results.

New contents in the search index are read in real time with the help of an interface, especially developed for this purpose, and immediately available after being published in the search results. Furthermore, the internet editorial of the BPA can add supplementary context information to the search result as a special search feature, like for instance references to further information and other websites.

The “Press and Information Office of the German Federal Government” is impressed of the new implemented search that works beneath the usual search surface.
