The NATO website is presenting itself with a new design in the forefront of the NATO summit in Lisbon. The new user oriented screen design with large scaled pictures, a modern navigation, and different modules on one page facilitates a fast and intuitive access to all topics. Thus, the homepage is offering information about current NATO operations with few clicks and the “Secretary General’s Corner” provides actual video statements by the secretary general.  ]init[  transferred the platform onto a modern and powerful Content Management System already in spring 2009 and therefore created the technical basis for the new design.
