Live from the IT Summit

Just in time for the 6th National IT Summit the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology launches the conference website www.it-gipfel.de including a live webcast of all plenums, forums, and press conferences. On 6th December 2011 the 6th National IT Summit takes place in Munich. It is the aim of the summit organized by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) to strengthen Germany as ICT location and to further important topics of IT business.
Core areas are “networking”, “mobility”, and “smart ICT applications”. As in previous years leaders from politics, economy, and science discuss improved and flexible IT processes without media breaks and set up pathbreaking pilot projects. For this year’s summit ]init[ has designed a modern conference website on behalf of BMWi. At www.it-gipfel.de interested citizens can easily get an idea of the summit and its impact on Germany as location for internet communication technologies. The website provides up-to-date reporting with large-sized pictures, video statements, and animated info graphics to the interested expert audience.
Highlight of the conference website is a live module which will be activated on the event day. Via live webcast the plenum, forums, press conferences, and the final plenary session can be followed on the internet and will be complemented by reports of the Twitter editorial team of the Ministry.
