With the interactive flash based application biotechnology@home, the BIOCOM AG creates a new and explorative access to the topics of biotechnology at www.biotechnologie.de by order of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (German abr. BMBF). With an example of an interactive house, which is based upon flash, it is illustrated that every days life would be impossible without biotechnology and that it is not only handled in test tubes in sterile laboratories. Who is looking around in the animated rooms at biotechnology@home exactly, will find many usual things, where biotechnology is integrated in one way or another.
