The Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology (German - Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie) has revised its internet presentation. With a new composition and design the site offers a direct access to all central information and services. The focus is on the tasks and responsibilities of the Ministry, which the Minister personally presents and explains in a video as well as the category “topic in focus” that introduces the latest economy policy topic.

From now on, users can personalize the welcome page of the main offer www.bmwi.de determining like this the contents that have particular relevance for them. They can choose their personal welcome page from an offer of 15 topics and service boxes and can personally arrange the boxes with the drag and drop function. Also new is the format of the topics: CoverFlows support the direct access to central contents, and the intuitive picture language simplifies a quick comprehension of complex topics of the Ministry.
