]init[ Supports Setup of Bulgarian Anti-Corruption Center BORKOR
The Bulgarian Government has entrusted e-government specialist ]init[ AG for Digital Communication with the coordination, the planning, and the implementation of technical tasks for the implementation of the project BORKOR (“Center for Prevention of Organized Crime and Corruption in Bulgaria”).
A respective contract has already been signed by Rumen Milanov, Director of the Center for Prevention of Organized Crime and Corruption and Maik Farthmann, ]init[ Executive Director, in Sofia on 10th October 2011. With the award of contract ]init[ AG has successfully transformed its competence in development and maintenance of complex e-government infrastructures into sustainable international business once again.
“The so far word-wide unique BORKOR method requires new, innovative software applications within an integrated overall solution. Therefore the Bulgarian Government trusts in a reliable and long-term partner of German administration, who provides the know-how, that is essential for projects of this dimension”, says Rolf Schlotterer, advisor of the Deputy Bulgarian Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, about ]init[.
Harald Felling, CSO of ]init[ AG commented: “The center of the contract is the implementation of modern German IT standards for working and information processes which guarantee trouble-free cooperation of the center with more than 30 ministries, administrations, and national and international governmental project partners. In this connection successful and established solutions of our projects for German administration can be used and further developed for the international context.
Besides the ongoing project BORKOR ]init[ realizes internet and IT projects for numerous clients in the international context, amongst others for the European Commission, General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, NATO, World Customs Organization, and Alliance for Financial Inclusion.
