If you’ve called up the central information portal of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) from your smartphone since December 2010, you will have been automatically redirected to the mobile version m.bmwi.de. This version contains the entire range of information and topics dealt with by the Ministry, in a design and HTML format optimized for modern touchscreens. ]init[ ensured in the design phase that the mobile version was particularly closely meshed with the traditional model. Using the mobile search function, you can access nearly all of the 60,000 documents available on the BMWi’s website, which are not possible to select directly due to the reduced navigation path functionality. A special routine in the CoreMedia CMS ensures that almost all contents are automatically adjusted and supplied for the smartphone – without extra work for the online editors.
