The Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Günther Beckstein (CSU) released today the new official online presentation of the Free State. Newly designed and with the expected expanded range of services the State portal presents itself on www.bayern.de and the corresponding administration portal www.verwaltung.bayern.de. With the internet presentation implemented by the Munich dependence of the ]init[ AG, the Bavarian State Chancellery creates a central point of contact in the internet for citizens, companies, and administration.

The portal www.bayern.de is characterized by an improved arrangement and new contents. Worth-knowing information about the Free State are retrievable directly from this site. The major new service is the mobile service providing latest news and upcoming events directly on your mobile. Additional functions like RSS-feeds, e-mail subscriptions and a direct access to all State Ministries round up the accessibility range of services.

The range of services found on www.verwaltung.bayern.de offers practical closeness to the citizen: forms and public services are quickly available on the portal avoiding trips through the authorities. Part of the services is also a digital brochure service that makes it possible to order printed publications online. The integrated real estate service assists finding available real estates in the Free State with the help of interactive maps and intelligent search engines.

“Due to its service-oriented contents and the integrated office services, these two portals are pointing the way for a modern citizen communication of authorities. We are proud to have implemented the projects together with the Bavarian State Chancellery”, states Harald Felling, Chairman of the ]init[  AG about the new portals.

Since 2006, the Bavarian dependence of the IT service provider supports the Bavarian State Chancellery regarding the implementation of its integrated internet communication.
