Government websites rely on Google search

]init[ is Google Enterprise Partner

]init[ AG for digital communication became Google Enterprise Partner. In the course of the cooperation, the Berlin e-government specialist offers the innovative search solution “Google Search Appliance”(GSA) exclusively for the public authorities.

“The GSA belongs to the firm standards in this industry sector. Currently, also in the public sector the demand for tailor-made solutions increases enormously with the worldwide leading search technology”, explains ]init[ Chairman Harald Felling. “With the cooperation and the support of Google connected to it, we are now able to offer our customers even more precisely tailored search solutions for the implementation of the individual requirements.”

The websites of the Federal Government, the Federal Ministry of Economics and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth already use the GSA search engines installed and maintained by ]init[. Consequently, the match quality, performance, and usability of the search could be significantly improved in the information portals of the three departments.

Besides the complete configuration of the search solution ]init[ developed also an interface to the CMS of the Federal Government, the Government Site Builder, in order to guarantee an actualization of the search index to the minute. Furthermore,]init[ guarantees the required high security level in public administration with the hosting of the appliances in an own BSI certified computer center.

The cooperation between ]init[ and Google shall be further deepened also in the fields of Google Maps, Google Earth, and Google Apps that find growing response on the public sector.
