The Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) has commissioned ]init[ to develop an world class website where members can meet in an interactive community. For the Thailand based organisation ]init[ will evaluate the current website, deliver a long term internet communication strategy and develop a user-centered design that will result in the technical specifications and information architecture for the all new www.afi-global.org including the member zone.

In September 2008, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH established the Alliance for Financial Inclusion with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. AFI is an innovative, member-driven organization that enables policymakers in developing countries to share their knowledge of financial inclusion policies that have delivered tangible results.
