Berlin’s Aliens Authority introduces electronic file

sites/default/files/itdz_klein_0.jpgThe Berlin State Office for Citizens and Regulatory Issues (German abbr. LABO) has introduced the operational expansion of ElektrA for administrative processes for the management of the Aliens Register (German abbr. AusReg2/ PaulaGO). The acronym stands for electronic Aliens File that is introduced by the Berlin Aliens Authority in a largely appreciated reference project in cooperation with the IT-Service Center Berlin (ITDZ Berlin).

ElektrA facilitates a quick and process-optimized handling of the manifold concerns of all Berlin immigrants as an integrated process of registry administration and electronic filing. The 300 public authority employees are optimally supported in their day-to-day work with about 150,000 customers and 400,000 managed files yearly due to the connection of ElektrA to the e-government service platform.
