The Press and Information Office of the German Federal Government (German abbr. BPA) has started a central online information portal concerning the finance crisis. The new website www.konjunkturpaket.de provides consolidated and comprehensive information about the measures of the Federal Government within the economic packages I and II.

The portal is aimed equally to citizens, companies, authorities and banks. The purpose of the site is to comprehensively inform the public about all activities of the Federal Government regarding the financial crisis. A simultaneously reached goal of the website is a high degree of transparency of all expenses of the economic programs.

The portal illustrates the measure packages of the Federal Government including plastic overview plans that provide information about the dimensions and main aspects of the economic packages. Additionally, an interactive map of Germany informs about the mode of action of the economic programs in the single Federal States. Finally, the latest news and videos concerning the topic financial crisis complete the offer of the website.
