78,000 cinematographic works, 170,000 people and more than 76,000 digital materials – www.filmportal.de is the favorite reference for German cineasts. The new Internet presence is now online and available for film enthusiasts and the general public alike. The platform, operated by Deutsches Filminstitut (DIF), takes the starring role thanks to a fresh design and a complete system and database architecture overhaul, based on  the Open Source CMS Drupal.
