Energy supply, energy prices, and heating costs – the insecurity among the population concerning energy questions is enormous and the need for information high. This is why the Bundes- ministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BMWi) researched this complex issue in a clear and comprehensible way for the citizens and launched the new consumer portal www.energie-verstehen.de.

In four categories “Energy Mix”, “Energy Prices”, “Changing the Provider” and “Save Energy”, questions all around energy are answered and multi-medially presented: the most important questions of the citizens rotate in an appealingly designed flash animation on the homepage. Besides practical advises, the consumer portal provides funded background information at a click.
