The Water Management Authority Rhineland-Palatinate has relaunched its information platform www.geoportal-wasser.rlp.de. An improved usability is the focus of the conceptual and creative redesign of the web presentation.

www.geoportal-wasser.rlp.de provides a digital information package that can be used for across department projects and operative measures. The portal makes available comprehensive data in order to support and to make more transparent the sustainability of the water management. Consequently, it addresses local planners and decision-makers, engineering offices and academies as well as the interested public. This is why complex expert data and related geographic contexts are clearly prepared in individually configurable thematic maps with the GeoExplorer of the water management. Furthermore, single maps can be integrated without any problems in appropriate map viewers and other websites.
