Commissioned by ADSIC - Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Committee, ]init[ AG launched in the course of the e-government initiative of the Arab Emirate a new internet portal of the government, making online available for the first time a broad range of information and services of the public administration of Abu Dhabi.
More than 500 authority services in Arab and English language can be retrieved per mouse-click on the internet sites for citizens www.abudhabi.ae, and respectively for businesses business.abudhabi.ae. A large number of topic-specific information, official publications, and announcements of the Emirate Authorities are additionally available.
An interactive map that was integrated in the online service for a better local orientation provides additional information regarding each authority including access routes, opening hours, or detailed contact data of the contact person in charge.
The provided expert application CLIC (Commercial License Information Center) is of particular interest for national and international business founders. CLIC acts like a guidepost. It issues and calculates, easily and quickly on the screen, the required procedures and costs for a business foundation or a new place of business in the Emirate. Background information about the economic and social system shall additionally ease the entering in the Arab World especially for foreign companies.
The e-government strategy of the Emirates, based on an initiative of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, is implemented by the ADSIC. ]init[ disposes of a place of business in the United Arab Emirates and besides carrying out the e-government portal, it also creates a new online style guide for ADSIC. This style guide defines the uniform appearance of the online communication of the Authorities of the Emirate Abu Dhabi.
